They have completely different vibes and personalities: Indraxi Kanjilal on the three Khans - Aamir and Salman, Shah Rukh
For Pushpa Impossible actor Indraxi Kanjilal, the three Khans of Bollywood—Shah Rukh, Aamir, and Salman—aren’t just megastars but a big part of her childhood, whom she grew up watching and adoring. While she admits that SRK was her first childhood crush, she was indeed a fan of Aamir and Salman.
She said, “Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan have been my childhood. They are my whole childhood. I’ve grown up watching their films, and it feels like I know them, even though I don’t know them personally. But still, they seem so close to everything. I mean, all of my memories, or at least some of my childhood memories, include them. And one of my favorite movies childhood crushes, my first childhood crush, was Shah Rukh Khan. I still love him. I adore him. I think Shah Rukh Khan is the most charming guy out there. He’s so charming even at this age; I love him.”
“And of course, for Aamir Khan, if you watch his 80s and 90s films, he was such a cute chocolate boy. I was crushing on him once upon a time. I remember Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin and all those films Raja Hindustani and Sarfarosh. All those films. I feel like I was crushing on him so hard during that time when I was watching those movies. Maybe I was 13 or 14 years old. I loved Aamir Khan back then. I had a crush on him too. And Salman Khan, all three of these Khans—I've always had a crush on them! And I feel like even at this age, they have maintained themselves so well,” she added.
She mentions that even at 60, all three Khans look good, and one can’t guess their ages just by looking at them. She added, “Especially Shah Rukh Khan, I think he looks the youngest among the three. It feels weird to see them older because I’ve seen them so young. So now, seeing them a little older or just knowing that they’re almost in their 60s, it’s a weird feeling. But of course, everybody ages, but still, it’s a different feeling when you see your childhood heroes, your favorite heroes, grow older or just realize how much time has passed.”
Talking about their brand of masculinity, she pointed out that all three of them have carved their own identity. She said, “I feel like all three of them have always portrayed different kinds of it. They have completely different vibes and personalities. Salman, during his prime, was the most masculine of the three with that typical macho image.”
“While Aamir Khan was like the soft, charming boy. And Shah Rukh Khan also had that same soft, romantic charm. Aamir later grew into a different persona, but in his younger days, he was definitely the cute, sweet guy. And Shah Rukh was always the charming, sweet guy too,” Indraxi ended.
