V4 Once More band members Arohi Kothari, Tejas Kothari, Kaushal Purecha, and Ekta Dave Purecha are all geared up for the wedding season, and how! Not only do they have a whole set of new things to perform, but they also have quite the strategy when it comes to making sure the audience have a brilliant time. “Most of the live bands have just one lead singer which is not the case with V4 as it has four lead singers, and that too real life couples! We all have different voices and the blend that comes out gives a next-level feeling altogether,” says Arohi. 

Tejas adds, “While performing, the first and foremost thing is to gauge the audience before engaging. Most of the job becomes easy when you set your stage with high spirits and automatically that aura is created and that builds the connection with the audience.” 

Ask them what kind of Bollywood numbers work at most events, and Kaushal says, “All sorts of Bollywood flavours are a crowd-favourite. Be it Retro, Desi, Sufi, Gujarati, Marwadi, Rap, Tamil Bollywood hits, Marathi Bollywood hits, etc, these all go very well. Although the two favourites are Malhari and Ramta Jogi.” 

Talking about the performance, Ekta says, “Today’s generation needs a T20 performance wherein the crowd wants a song change every minute and that is how we manage to execute most songs in less time. Gone are the days when people used to listen to entire songs so we believe in creating mashups, medleys and also the dance numbers are focused more on hook lines and hook steps.”
