Actor Aadesh Chaudhary on International Youth Day: “Youth is the Backbone of a Nation’s Growth”

Actor Aadesh Chaudhary, who was recently seen in the web series Sabse Bada Rupiaya, believes that the energy, creativity, and innovative spirit of the youth are the driving forces behind a nation’s growth. Speaking on the occasion of International Youth Day, he shared his thoughts on how young people can become agents of positive change.
“I wholeheartedly agree that youth is the backbone of a nation's growth and flourishing. Their energy and creativity are essential for progress, but this potential must be channelled in the right direction,” he said.
With the rapid spread of information — and misinformation — Aadesh stressed the importance of critical thinking and media literacy. “We must encourage youth to question information, analyze sources, and verify facts. They should learn to navigate media platforms smartly, identify biases, and recognize credible sources. Quality education and awareness programs are key to making this possible.”
Sharing his own approach, Aadesh revealed, “I guard myself against misinformation by verifying information through reputable sources, avoiding sensational content, and engaging in respectful discussions that allow me to hear diverse perspectives.”
According to the actor, one of the most important needs of today’s youth is mentorship and guidance. “Experienced mentors can help young people make informed decisions, navigate challenges, and develop essential life skills. They can seek role models, join mentorship programs, and leverage online platforms for networking.”
Aadesh admires global youth icon Malala Yousafzai for her courage, resilience, and passion for education and social justice. “She inspires me with her fearlessness and determination to make a difference,” he said.
Reflecting on how young people have evolved over the years, Aadesh observed, “Today’s youth are more tech-savvy, socially conscious, and entrepreneurial than ever before. They are embracing technology for social good, engaging in activism, and building innovative, sustainable ventures. They are truly shaping the country’s future.”
